A Challenge

It’s summer in Sydney. The season when a penguin’s thoughts turn to whether it can squeeze into the freezer, wistful dreams of wearing gloves, and the challenge of baking when it feels like the oven’s on before you even begin. But never mind the bother – summer should be about fun...
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to have enough cocktails (or mocktails)* containing little paper umbrellas so that you can make one of these...
Ridiculous amounts of fruit, curly straws, dangling monkeys and drinking out of a pineapple / coconut / watermelon are entirely optional, but might help if you want to embrace that Carmen Miranda feeling...

A certain pork-and-bacon-loving friend (the Porcavore?) recently pointed out the relationship between the cosmos (with all those stars and planets and things) and the cosmos (with cranberry juice). So cocktails aren’t just important – they’re part of the fabric of the universe. Especially for an over-heated penguin.
* Not necessarily all in one sitting. Because that might be ill-advised and lead to falling over in a heap (and that’d just be from the mocktails).
What a lovely lamp! Although I'll have to consume lots of drinks before I have that amount of paper umbrellas, I'm sure it's going to be fun! Enjoy the beautiful day, Kellie xx
That lamp is so cute - my girls would love to make that so I'd better get drinking. Not sure about the watermelon fascinator, though!! P.S I'm your new follower!
