Banana Llama

It’s official – I’ve gone bananas! Not content with banana brownies, now there are... banana llamas*! After the Stoats Oatmeal, I wondered what other animal-inspired and entertaining-sounding foods might be out there. Not as many llama cakes as you might suspect (if you're given to thinking about these things), but this one caught my eye with his furry finish and multi-coloured detailing...
Perhaps it's prompted by the necklace the llama's wearing, but I thought the perfect match for this cake would be these Murano glass drop cluster earrings by Antica Murrina...
They'd look especially good if you want to show off a graceful, slender neck. A little like a llama, perhaps. And fabulous jewellery's always a good way to get a llama to sing**... because it's always about accessorising with cake!
* And, apparently, far too many exclamation marks. While there isn't conclusive proof that the cake is indeed banana, how could it possibly be anything else? It sounds right. It looks right for that cake, too, with the colour of the icing.
** Among their many talents, singing llamas are exceptionally good at wrangling meandering penguins...
