If you can't stand the heat, then you might be a penguin! Sydney has been sweltering by just about any standards and when the mercury soars above 40°C, getting in the kitchen - let alone anywhere near the oven - becomes so much less appealing.
The mood around here is something more like this...
And if it's too hot to venture outside, perhaps the beach is best enjoyed on top of a cupcake...
They're beautiful, but it might be too hot even for cake. Watermelon and air conditioning are the preferred options for now, along with reading blogs about colder climes.
